Literature search
Three free databases, strings you can re-run, a screening log you own
This documents a search: sources, exact strings, dates, criteria, every record and your
decision on each. It is not an appraisal — suitability and contribution
(MEDDEV 2.7/1 rev 4 Appendix A6) are the evaluator's judgment and are not recorded here.
Embase, Scopus and Web of Science are not searched; they need a
subscription. Abstracts are free; full text of a paywalled paper is not, and an
open-access link is shown where a source knows one.
Run a search to see counts and the exact strings sent.
Every identifier links to the record at its source; read it there. A draft of this table is kept in this browser so a reload does not lose it; the export is the record.
Counts appear once a search has run.
The .docx and .pdf carry the protocol, every query string as sent, the per-source counts, the PRISMA table and the screening log. The CSV is the log with a URL per record. All are built in this browser.
