Careers
Build the faster way to bring a device to market.
We are a small team of device engineers using AI to do design, documentation, verification and prototyping work faster than the usual way. We are hiring for two roles.
Senior Software Developer
- Location
- Remote. Candidates based in India are welcome, as are candidates in the US.
- Schedule
- Full-time. At least three hours of overlap with US Central time on working days.
- Pay
- Discussed in the first conversation.
You will be the senior engineer behind everything 10xAnd builds in software: the free engineering tools on this site, the public MCP server that ChatGPT and Claude call, the Prototype Atlas cost model, and the internal tooling our engineers use to deliver DHF, verification and CAD-migration work for device companies.
What you will do
- Own the architecture and code of 10xand.com and its tools, from data pipeline to the page a regulatory engineer uses. Today that is TypeScript, Astro and Cloudflare Pages and Workers.
- Build and run the pipelines over public FDA data (openFDA 510(k), MAUDE, classification, GUDID/UDI, recognized consensus standards). Every number a tool shows carries its source and data date.
- Maintain and extend the /mcp server: new read-only tools, schema design, rate limiting, and the review requirements of the ChatGPT and Claude app directories.
- Build AI-assisted workflows for regulated documentation work, such as DHF gap analysis, requirement-to-test traceability and submission drafting. Each one has an evaluation set, a measured error rate and a human review gate before anything reaches a client.
- Build the delivery tooling behind our service pilots: document and drawing parsing, BOM and CAD ingestion, and report generation.
- Turn rules into checks. When a constraint must stay true (no unsourced numbers, no client names, accessibility, page weight), it becomes a test in CI rather than a sentence in a doc.
- Protect client data. Client documents are never used to train a model. You will design for NDA material, least privilege and an audit trail.
- Set the engineering bar as the team grows: code review, release practice, and mentoring the developers who join after you.
What you bring
- 2+ years building production software, with real depth in TypeScript and Python.
- You have shipped web applications and data pipelines end to end and kept them running.
- Hands-on work with LLM APIs: tool use, structured output, retrieval, and especially evaluation. You know how to tell whether a model is right.
- Serverless or edge platforms (Cloudflare Workers, AWS Lambda or similar).
- Clear written English. Most of our collaboration is written, and decisions get written down.
Good to have
- Medical device software or another regulated domain: IEC 62304, ISO 14971, FDA QMSR (21 CFR 820), or FDA premarket cybersecurity guidance.
- Healthcare interoperability (HL7 FHIR), or CAD and engineering data formats (STEP, BOMs, drawings).
- Model Context Protocol servers, or apps published to ChatGPT or Claude.
- Open-source work we can read.
How to apply
Send a short note, your CV or LinkedIn, and a link to code you are proud of (a repo, a PR, or a product). Tell us which time zone you work in.

VP of Sales
- Location
- Remote, US-based. Travel to customers and industry events.
- Schedule
- Full-time.
- Pay
- Discussed in the first conversation.
You will build the commercial side of 10xAnd from the first deals up: selling engineering, regulatory, verification and prototyping services to medical device companies, and building the partner network that brings us into programs we would never reach alone.
What you will do
- Own revenue: pipeline, forecast and close for our service lines, from a scoping review to a fixed-fee pilot to a longer engagement.
- Sell to R&D, quality and regulatory leaders at device companies of every size, from first-time founders to established OEMs. Run discovery well enough that every proposal is scoped to a pilot we can deliver.
- Build the partner channel: distributors and manufacturers’ reps, regulatory and clinical consultancies, contract manufacturers, test labs, sterilization providers, incubators and accelerators. Structure referral, co-sell and reseller agreements, and keep them producing.
- Grow our supplier network with operations: find and qualify machining, molding, extrusion, assembly, packaging and sterilization partners so we can quote and build more of what clients ask for.
- Represent 10xAnd at trade shows, conferences and in industry associations, and in front of investors and partners when needed.
- Feed the market back into the product: which services, tools and price points win, and which do not. Report numbers with the sample size behind them.
- Set up the sales process and CRM, and hire and lead the sales team as it grows.
- Hold the line on our claims rules: no client names, no invented track record, no device performance claims. Credibility comes from credentials and from the pilot itself.
What you bring
- 10+ years in B2B sales in medical devices, with at least 5 selling services (contract engineering, CDMO or contract manufacturing, regulatory consulting, testing or sterilization).
- A record of opening new accounts and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals, and an existing network across device OEMs and their supply chain.
- Working fluency in how devices reach market: design controls, 510(k) and De Novo, verification and validation, and what a quality or regulatory buyer worries about.
- You have built a channel or partner program from scratch, or played a central part in building one.
Good to have
- Experience at an early-stage company where you built the process rather than inherited it.
- An engineering, life-science or regulatory background.
- Relationships with accelerators, incubators, hospital innovation centers or medtech investors.
How to apply
Send a short note and your CV or LinkedIn, and tell us about a services deal or a partner program you built and how it went.

How we hire
- A reply from a person, not an applicant-tracking system.
- A conversation about the work, the role and pay.
- A practical exercise close to the real job, paid if it takes more than a couple of hours, or a walk through work you have already done.
- Meet the people you would work with, then an offer.
We hire on what you can do. We do not discriminate on race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status or any other protected characteristic. If you need an adjustment at any stage, say so in your first email.
What you send us is used only to consider you for a role, and we delete it when you ask. The rest is in our privacy policy.
