Help with MedTech by 10xAnd in ChatGPT and Claude, and with the free tools on this site.

Contact

Email [email protected]. It helps to include which assistant you were using (ChatGPT or Claude), what you asked, and what came back. Please do not send drawings or other confidential files to this address; for quotes under NDA, use the Prototype Atlas request form.

What MedTech by 10xAnd does

Look up FDA 510(k) clearances, device classifications, MAUDE adverse-event reports and FDA-recognized consensus standards, parse UDIs, lay out a development roadmap for a device idea, compare sterilization methods, plan an ASTM F1980 accelerated aging study, and get budgetary cost and lead-time bands for prototype parts, drawings and whole bills of materials, with a ranked list of suppliers. Every FDA result states the query it ran and the date of the data. Quotes are estimates from a cost model, not supplier prices. For engineering, regulatory and sourcing work; not medical advice.

Things to try:

  • “Show me the deduplicated MAUDE adverse-event data for product code DQO.”
  • “Find recent 510(k) clearances I could use as predicates for a diagnostic intravascular catheter.”
  • “Here is my drawing. What would 25 of these cost as prototypes?”
  • “Find braiding and coiling suppliers near Minneapolis for 10 prototype catheter shafts.”
  • “Which FDA-recognized standards apply to product code DXN?”

Connecting it

  • ChatGPT: find MedTech by 10xAnd in the ChatGPT app directory, or add a custom connector with the URL https://10xand.com/mcp and no authentication.
  • Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, URL https://10xand.com/mcp.

What it will not do

  • Give medical advice, or say whether a device is safe. MAUDE report counts are not rates and do not show that a device caused an event.
  • Give a supplier price. Quotes are budgetary estimates from a cost model.
  • Place orders, upload files, or contact suppliers. Every tool is read-only.
